The Nitrox Specialty Course, is a sought-after program for divers aiming to extend their time underwater safely through the use of enriched air nitrox.
This specialized course introduces participants to the nuances of diving with enriched air, a practice that extends underwater exploration time by reducing nitrogen levels and mitigating the risk of decompression sickness. Additionally, it enhances safety, especially for divers involved in multiple dives within a day. The Nitrox Specialty Course includes a comprehensive curriculum featuring a theory session, two open water dives, and instruction on setting up dive computers for nitrox use. Participants are also equipped with the skills to analyze and test their tanks before diving, ensuring a thorough understanding of the process.
It’s crucial to note that, akin to other courses, the course fee covers the training expenses, but the certificate and manual are not included and necessitate an additional charge of 106 Euros.
Requirements for participation in the Nitrox Specialty Course are straightforward. Participants should be at least 12 years old, with parental approval if required. Additionally, holding a Junior Open Water Diver certificate or its equivalent is a prerequisite.
